Community Wellbeing Event

This September, Uckfield residents are invited to attend our Community Wellbeing Event and discover what their community has to offer.

The goal is to link up residents with services, organisations and individuals who help to make Uckfield a better place, and to find solutions for those everyday problems we all have.

Whether you are passionate about volunteering, sports, singing, campaigning for issues like accessibility, environmentalism and mental health, or just being sociable with your fellow residents, this event aims to have every option available for you.

We are delighted to be joined by a large number of stallholders who will provide information and helpful chats.

Also, we are thrilled to have some interactive sessions, including music and games, to try out.

During the day, there will also be tea, coffee and cake provided for free.

Activities Schedule:

• Between 10am and 11am, we welcome Happiness In Motion East Sussex for an interactive display of indoor kurling and boccia games. Get involved, get active and see what fun there is to be had!
• Then, at 11am, we’re straight into an hour of brilliant music and entertainment from Uckfield favourite, Jimmy Van Lin.
• And at 12pm, we follow up with an hour of the U3A Uckfield Ukulele Group, and the chance to sign up and get involved in their great social gatherings.

This event is organised by the Uckfield Ageing Well Forum, which includes Uckfield Town Council, Sussex Support Service, Ridgewood Village Hall, Barchester Healthcare and Home Instead.
