Will Page – Saturday 23 September – 7.45pm

Well known as the fiddle playing front man of Americana band, Noble Jacks, Will Page is a folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Sussex. Inspired from a young age after seeing Fairport Convention’s Dave Swarbrick perform live at his local village hall in Chiddingly (East Sussex), Will has continued Swarbs’ legacy of British folk fiddle playing into the modern era. Later discovering his melodic singing voice, Will began to combine singing with his fiddle playing (and other instruments) in a style reminiscent of artists such as Seth Lakeman and Bellowhead’s Jon Boden .

As a young fan of the likes of The Waterboys and Levellers, Will experimented with alternative styles and sounds, and when he began writing his own songs, Noble Jacks was born to take these songs to the stage. With Noble Jacks Will has toured relentlessly with sold out shows across the UK and beyond. With notable festival performances at Glastonbury, Isle of Wight Festival and Cambridge Folk Festival to name a few. In 2019 Noble Jacks performed at Americanafest in both London and Nashville TN, and Will was nominated instrumentalist of the year at the UK Americana Awards in Jan 2020. In April 2022, Noble Jacks exploded back onto the live scene with a brand new studio album, Last Of The Wild. The album entered the Top 40 Official Americana Album chart on its first week of release.

With three studio albums, plus a viral YouTube single (Dreams Carry Me On) under his belt with Noble Jacks, Will is now also recording and performing as a solo artist, showcasing his more traditional folk writing and playing style. Expect heartfelt vocals accompanied by guitar, harmonica, energetic fiddle and foot-stomping rhythms!
